Cheke is a point-of-sale application for small and medium businesses, operated by Mica Go Store LLC, a Texas limited liability company. This policy explains what data we handle, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be understood without a lawyer.

1. Information we collect
There are two distinct roles here, and it is worth not confusing them. We are responsible for your account and your business data. You are responsible for the data of your own customers: you enter it, you decide what it is used for, and you answer to them for it. We only store and process it on your behalf, following your instructions.
About you, as a user: name, email address, profile photo if you sign in with Google, phone number if you add one, and a record of when you sign in.
About your business: trade name and legal name, tax ID (RTN), address, phone, logo, branches, employees and the roles you assign them.
About your operation: sales, work orders, payments, inventory, purchases, expenses, cash sessions and commissions.
About your customers, if you enter them: name, nickname, phone, email, and — in businesses such as a car wash — their vehicles with plate, make and type.
What we never collect: we do not ask for or store credit or debit card numbers. When you record a card or transfer payment, Cheke stores only the reference number you type, so the cash count reconciles. We do not access your location or your phone contacts.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the service: recording sales, calculating taxes, tracking inventory, reconciling cash and settling commissions.
- To identify you and apply the permissions of the role you were assigned.
- To keep an audit trail of sensitive actions, such as voiding a sale or overriding a price.
- To answer you when you ask for support.
- To fix failures and improve the product.
We do not use your data or your customers' data for advertising, and we do not sell data to anyone, under any circumstances.
3. Third-party services we use
These are the only third parties that touch data in Cheke. Each one receives only what it needs:
- Base44 — application hosting, database and authentication. It holds everything you enter into Cheke. Privacy policy.
- Google (Sign-In) — if you sign in with a Google account, Google shares your name, email and profile photo with us. Privacy policy.
- Google Workspace / Apps Script — sends the messages from the contact form on this site. It receives what you type into that form. Privacy policy.
- Cloudflare — content delivery and TLS in front of the domain. It sees connection metadata, such as IP address, not application content. Privacy policy.
Cheke does not use payment processors, advertising networks, or artificial-intelligence providers. If that changes, this list changes with it.
4. Data sharing and disclosure
Beyond the providers listed above, we share nothing. We may disclose information if a competent authority requires it through a valid order, and if the law allows it we will tell you first.
Separation between businesses: Cheke serves several businesses on the same platform. Every record is tied to a business, and the application resolves on the server which business each user belongs to, so you only see data from the business you were assigned to. We do not share your commercial information with other businesses that use Cheke.
5. Cookies and tracking
We use only what is needed to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as language and light or dark theme. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track you across other websites.
6. Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. If you close your account or stop using the service, you can ask us to delete it and we do so within 30 days.
One exception: sales records and documents with accounting or tax effect may have to be kept for the period the law requires. In that case we keep them only for that purpose and for nothing else.
7. Your rights and choices
You may ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what data of yours we hold.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Give you a copy of your business information.
- Delete your account and your data.
Write to mc@micagostore.com. We answer within 30 days and we do not charge for this. You can also revoke Cheke's access to your Google account at any time from your Google security settings.
8. Security
Access is protected by authentication, and sensitive operations — charges, inventory movements, cash closings — are validated on the server, not in the browser. Even so, no system is infallible: keep your password safe and do not share your account. If we detect a breach that affects you, we will tell you.
9. International transfers
Mica Go Store LLC is based in Texas, United States, and our providers store data on servers in the United States. If you use Cheke from Honduras or another country, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the service you consent to that transfer.
10. Children's privacy
Cheke is a work tool and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor gave us data, write to us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change it, we update the date above. If the change is significant, we will tell you inside the app or by email before it takes effect.
