1. Eligibility and account

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age your country requires to consent to the processing of your data (for example, 16 in some countries of the European Union). If you are under 18, you need the permission of a parent or guardian.

You are responsible for everything done from your account and for keeping access to it safe. If you sign in with Google, the security of that account is also up to you.

2. Description of the service

Pharus helps you work on one virtue at a time: you describe a struggle, the app proposes a weekly challenge with a concrete rule, and each night you review it with the Ignatian examen. It also offers the daily liturgy, a guide to follow the Mass, prayers, the guided Rosary, novenas, formation guides and a daily planner.

Pharus is in an early stage. It may have errors, some features may change or be incomplete, and the service may be interrupted while we improve it.

3. Plans, billing and cancellation

At this stage, Pharus is free of charge. There is no subscription, no payment method on file and nothing to cancel.

If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you in advance and they will only apply with your explicit acceptance. You will never be charged automatically for continuing to use what was free.

4. Your content and ownership

Everything you write or record in Pharus — your challenges, rules, examens, notes, intentions and plans — belongs to you. We claim no ownership over it.

We use it only to provide the service, on the terms of the Privacy Policy. You can delete it from Profile → Privacy or by writing to pharus@micagostore.com.

5. Our intellectual property

The Pharus software, its name, logo and design, and the original texts written for the app (such as the meditations of the Undoer of Knots novena and the formation guides) belong to Mica Go Store LLC. Using the service does not transfer any rights over them.

Liturgical texts, translations of the Bible and of the Roman Missal, and traditional prayers belong to their respective owners and are reproduced with attribution. They do not become ours by appearing in the app.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use Pharus to:

7. AI features and limitations

Some features use artificial intelligence: proposing a challenge and a plan from what you tell the app, transcribing what you dictate by voice, and offering brief observations about your progress or reflections connected with the liturgy of the day.

AI can be wrong, incomplete or inappropriate. Read what it proposes with judgment and adjust it: the rule of your challenge is yours. The AI is not a priest, a spiritual director, a psychologist or a doctor, and its answers are not doctrinal, medical or psychological advice.

What you write or dictate for these features is sent to the AI providers only to generate the response. How that data is handled is explained in the Privacy Policy.

8. Third-party services

Pharus runs on infrastructure from Base44, supports sign-in with Google, and uses external sources for the daily readings, such as Evangelizo and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. Those services have their own terms and we do not control their availability; a failure on their side may affect Pharus. The full list is in the Privacy Policy.

9. Termination

You may stop using Pharus whenever you want and delete your data. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms or puts the service or other users at risk; except in an emergency, we give notice first.

If we discontinue the service, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to obtain a copy of your data.

10. Disclaimers and warranties

Pharus is provided as is and as available, with no warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

Pharus accompanies your prayer and your daily struggle; it does not replace the sacraments, spiritual direction or professional help. If you are going through a crisis, have thoughts of harming yourself or face a situation that feels overwhelming, contact your local emergency services or a professional. In the United States you can call or text 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, which also serves in Spanish.

We do our best to reproduce the official texts of the liturgy and the prayers faithfully, but there may be errors or regional variants. In the celebration, the texts used by your parish prevail.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mica Go Store LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, or decisions made on the basis of content generated by the application.

Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months prior to the claim — which, while Pharus is free, is zero.

Nothing here limits liabilities that the applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

12. Indemnification

You agree to hold Mica Go Store LLC harmless from claims by third parties arising out of your use of the service or your breach of these terms.

13. Modifications to the service and terms

We may update the service and these terms. The date above indicates the latest version, and if the change is significant we will notify you inside the app or by email. Continuing to use Pharus after that means you accept them.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Texas.

This does not deprive you of the protections of the consumer law of your country of residence where such law grants them without possibility of waiver.
