Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

Account: name, email address, profile photo if you sign in with Google, your language and theme preferences, and basic usage data (pages visited, device and browser) collected by our hosting provider's analytics.

Your trading journal: the trades you enter, import or edit (dates and times, instruments, prices, quantities, results, account type such as live or simulated, source and setup), your notes and theses, your rules and their parameters, daily premarket plans and practice-phase settings.

Screenshots you upload to import orders, and whatever is visible in them.

We treat your trading results as sensitive financial information. We never ask for or store brokerage credentials, and the Service does not connect to your brokerage account. Please crop account numbers out of screenshots before uploading.

2. How we use your information

• to provide the Service: compute your figures, check your rules, show alerts and statistics;
• to read the orders in the screenshots you choose to import;
• to keep each user's data separate and enforce who can see what;
• to provide support, secure the Service and fix problems;
• to comply with the law.

We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not share your trades or results with other users.

3. Google user data

If you choose to sign in with Google, the sign-in is handled by our hosting provider, Base44.

• Scopes: only openid, email and profile, which provide your name, email address and profile photo. TradePause does not access Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Calendar or any other Google service.
• How we use it: only to create and authenticate your account.
• How we store and protect it: in the app's database hosted by Base44, behind authentication, encrypted in transit over HTTPS.
• How we share it: never sold, rented or shared, and never used for advertising. Only Base44 processes it, on our behalf.
• Retention and deletion: kept while your account is active; deleted within 30 days of a request to tradepause@micagostore.com. You can also revoke access from your Google account's security settings.

TradePause's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Third-party services we use

• Base44 — hosts the app, its database, file storage and sign-in, sends account emails such as verification codes and password resets, and provides basic product analytics. It runs on cloud infrastructure including Render and Cloudflare. Privacy policy.
• AI model provider, through Base44 — when you import a screenshot, the image is sent to the AI model that Base44 provides, only to extract the order rows. It is not used to import anything you did not choose.
• Google — sign-in with Google, if you choose it. Privacy policy.
• Google Workspace — our email, used when you write to tradepause@micagostore.com.

TradePause does not currently process payments or send push notifications. If that changes, we will update this list before it happens.

5. Data sharing and disclosure

Your journal is private: other users cannot see it. As the operator of the Service, authorized Mica Go personnel can technically access stored data; we do so only to provide support you ask for, to keep the Service secure, or when the law requires it. Our admin tools show account activity (for example, how many trades you have logged), not your results.

If we add group features in the future, joining a group will be optional and we will update this policy, explaining exactly what is shared, before it launches. We share data with the providers listed above to run the Service, and with authorities only when legally required.

6. Cookies and tracking

TradePause uses the storage needed to keep you signed in, plus your browser's local storage to remember your language, your theme and whether you dismissed the install banner. Our hosting provider collects basic usage analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.

7. Data retention

Your journal stays while your account is active. Deleting a trade in the app deletes that record.

Uploaded screenshots are stored privately (they are not public links) and are not deleted automatically. Our hosting platform does not currently offer a way to permanently erase stored files, so we cannot promise that an uploaded image is removed from storage, even after you delete your account.

To delete your account and journal, write to tradepause@micagostore.com and we will do it within 30 days. Residual copies may remain in our providers' backups for a limited time before they are overwritten.

8. Your rights and choices

You can see, correct and export your trades in the app. You can ask us for a copy of your data, its correction or its deletion by writing to tradepause@micagostore.com.

9. Security

Data travels encrypted over HTTPS. Access is controlled per user on the server, not only in the interface. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach that affects your data, we will notify you as the law requires.

10. International transfers

TradePause is operated from the United States, and our providers may store or process data in the United States and other countries where they operate. By using TradePause from another country you understand that your data will be processed there.

11. Children's privacy

TradePause is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

12. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when the Service changes, for example if we add payments, group features or new providers. The date at the top shows the current version, and we will tell you about material changes in the app or by email.
